تطل عليكم “مثلي” بصفحات تحتوي على مواضيع ومستجدات حول الهوية الجنسية والجندرية بالمغرب والعالم العربي. تسعى “مثلي” عبر صفحاتها أن تفتح مجال يعبر من خلاله المثليات والمثليين وثنائيي ومتحولي الجنس عن ذاتهم ووجودهم المتناسي و المغيب من المجتمع “الرسمي”. نحن نؤمن أن تجارب أفرادنا بأخوافهم و أفراحهم و تحدياتهم اليومية تظهر لنا مدى المضارعة بيننا كما أنها توضح رسالتنا كمجموعة تتعايش في اكثر المناطق اضطرابا في العالم من الناحية السياسية و الاجتماعية. نحن نرى القيمة العليا في التعبير عن النفس، مهما كانت الوسيلة، و نأمل أن يصبح هذا المنبر مرشدا لكل من يريد إرشاد و منصتا لكل من له كلمة.
الخوف يأتي من الجهل و عدم المعرفة، فإن رُهاب المثلية هو نتيجة عدم الفهم و التفاهم. لذلك نحن من خلال هذه الصفحات نوّد إعطاء لمحة بصر في حياة و أفكار أفراد المجتمعات المثلية.

About us
Mithly.net is a website dedicated to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community in Morocco and the Arab world. We believe that a record of the experiences acquired through the daily challenges, joys, and fears of individuals belonging to these communities is invaluable to understanding how we identify with each other as individuals as well as what we aim for as a pressure group living in the most socially and politically turbulent area on the globe. We find true value in self-actualization and self-expression, whatever the form, and we hope Mithly.net will be both a guide and a listener to all those who visit. With our articles being circulated in several languages, we wish to leave no one out of this evolution.
Fear is often derived from a lack of knowledge. Homophobia then stems from a fear of a certain unknown. Along with providing an online home for the LGBT community we feel that it is also our duty that our pages provide a glimpse, however brief, into the lives and thoughts of our community. If we are understood, if our expressions are honest and uninhibited, then we may be recognized, accepted, included for who we truly are.
MITHLY is the arabic word for GAY. We choose this word according to our objective to give voice to the Moroccan LGBTs.
This website will be, as much as possible, multilingual ( French, arabic, English, amazigh ).
